Whenever you are viewing confidential information in your browser, data is being transmitted from our servers to your computer. For all such data communication, we use a 256-bit encryption protocol called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) that is specifically designed to prevent the data from being intercepted and hacked. The use of this protocol is evident when the "http" prefix in your browser's address bar changes to "https" - for example, when you log in to your account.
Our site has been secured by GoDaddy, the largest provider of SSL certificates in the world. Wherever you see the GoDaddy seal, you may click on it for information about our use of the SSL protocol.
Rainbow Rewards authenticates users through the use of usernames and passwords. To the extent you are careful to keep this information confidential, it is a secure means of providing account information, rewards and special offers only to authorized users.
Rainbow Rewards uses an industry-standard encryption technology called MD5 (Message Digest 5) to protect card numbers. Using a sophisticated algorithm, MD5 scrambles the card number into a hash or a meaningless sequence of characters. It is a one-way hash in the sense that it cannot be reverse-engineered to determine the original card number.
As a result, only the last four digits of a card number are displayed so that you know which cards are registered with Rainbow Rewards. In fact, we do not even store the full card number on our system - only the hash.
We use multiple firewalls and other intrusion prevention technologies to protect our systems and data resources. Our networks are regularly scanned by Coalfire Systems, certified by the PCI Security Standards Council as an Approved Scanning Vendor, and reviewed for any potential vulnerabilities. Software upgrades and patches are applied diligently to keep our systems secure.
In order to maintain a high level of security through the transaction collection and validation phase, Rainbow Rewards has partnered with Golden Retriever Systems, the leader in loyalty transaction processing. GRS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TSYS (NYSE:TSS), the preeminent supplier of acquiring solutions, related systems and integrated support services to the acquiring industry and its customers.
Rainbow Rewards has also partnered with First Data Commercial Services, which represents nearly 5 million merchants worldwide. FDCS is a business unit of First Data Corporation (NYSE:FDC), the world's largest provider of payment processing services to financial institutions, businesses and governments.
Both GRS and FDC are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which means they meet the rigorous data processing and security requirements set forth by the Visa CISP and MasterCard SDP programs. To maintain PCI compliance, annual audits are performed by Coalfire Systems, certified as a Qualified Security Assessor.
Rainbow Rewards will never ask for your full 16-digit card number, and you should never send us your full card number. If we require a receipt or statement as proof of purchase, you should send it to us using our secure fax number and ensure that the full card number is not on the receipt or statement before faxing.
In very rare cases, a Rainbow Rewards employee may call to speak with you directly. The caller will identify themselves as an employee of Rainbow Rewards and you should feel free to ask to call back. To get the number, call information, look us up in a directory or visit our website - each provides a degree of confidence the caller is not masquerading as an employee of Rainbow Rewards.

Welcome to the Rainbow Rewards USA, Inc. ("RR") website (the "Site"). RR makes its Site available to you subject to these Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms and Conditions"), and by accessing and/or using this Site you indicate your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not access this Site. RR reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, and your continued access or use of this Site constitutes agreement to all such changes. RR includes Rainbow Reward Holdings, Ltd. and its affiliates.
If you register to become an RR member ("Member"), you agree that it is your responsibility to keep your Member information current, complete and accurate by periodically updating your information in the appropriate section of the Site. RR does not represent, warrant or guarantee that any particular Participating Merchant (as defined below) will accept your debit card or credit card registered with RR ("Registered Card") as payment for services or goods provided by such Participating Merchant as certain Participating Merchants may not accept one or more of the type of Registered Cards described above (e.g., American Express®, MasterCard® or Visa®). IF YOU REGISTER TO BECOME A MEMBER, YOU AUTHORIZE RR TO PERFORM ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO OPERATE THE RAINBOW REWARDS PROGRAM UNDER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION OBTAINING YOUR TRANSACTION INFORMATION FROM, AND SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH, ANY LOYALTY PROGRAM PROCESSOR OR PAYMENT CARD NETWORK (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, VISA, MASTERCARD AND AMERICAN EXPRESS).
Certain merchants have entered into agreements with RR pursuant to which such merchants (each a "Participating Merchant") have agreed to participate in the program ("Program") available in connection with the Site.
Subject to these Terms and Conditions, upon registering and becoming a Member of the Program, you will be eligible to receive rewards (the "Rewards") from RR when you use a Registered Card to pay for goods and/or services at a Participating Merchant (a "Transaction"). Subject to these Terms and Conditions, such Rewards will be in the form of Reward Points ("Points") credited to your Rainbow Rewards loyalty program account ("Account") registered with RR. The Points are redeemable in cash that will be sent to your bank account by direct deposit or by check at the frequency selected by the Member.
A current list of Participating Merchants is available on this Site. Participating Merchants are added to or withdrawn from the Program from time to time and Rewards awarded for purchases at Participating Merchants may vary from time to time. If a particular merchant does not appear in the search results of this site on the date you purchase a service or product from a merchant, that merchant is not currently participating in the Program and shall not be deemed a Participating Merchant for purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
Though RR has been advised that Rewards are generally considered non-taxable rebates, you are responsible for any tax consequences resulting from your receipt of Rewards under the Program. RR may report Rewards provided to you as appropriate to the relevant tax authorities.
Rainbow Rewards Account. Points you accrue as a result of Transactions that qualify for Rewards ("Qualifying Purchases") will be posted to your Account. The Rainbow Rewards Site will display a summary of Qualifying Purchases in your Account. Generally, Qualifying Purchases and Points will be posted to your Account within ten (10) business days. However, we will not be liable for damages resulting from any failure to post Points or Qualifying Purchases to your Account in a timely manner. You acknowledge and accept that you are solely responsible for checking your Account to verify that all Points and Qualifying Purchases have been properly posted.
You may redeem your reward account balance by choosing one of two methods: by a check mailed to you, or by via an ACH deposit to your financial institution account. Rainbow Rewards currently charges a $3 check processing fee for redemption by check. Other forms of redemption may carry a fee in the future and Rainbow Rewards retains the right to change its redemption fee structure in the future. Rainbow Rewards automatically issues reward redemptions quarterly when the rewards account balance reaches $25. The member may request payment at any time at a lower account balance if the member contacts customer support. Rainbow Rewards may at its discretion issue reward payments in special promotions at account balance below $25. In such promotions, Rainbow Rewards waives redemption fees.
If you believe that a Qualifying Purchase or Points for such Qualifying Purchase have not been properly posted to your Account, then you must inform RR within 120 days of the Qualifying Purchase for which you are claiming that Points should have been posted. In such circumstances, you must send proof of purchase (a copy of the receipt or statement) with your name and address using the contact information below:
999 18th Street, Suite 2250
Denver, CO 80202
Receipts sent in after the 120-day period or which otherwise do not comply with the foregoing requirements will not be considered for Rewards. RR reserves the right, however, to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether Points should have been posted to your Account. You acknowledge that any such determination by RR will be final and binding.
In the event of any abusive or fraudulent activity related to your participation in the Rainbow Rewards Program as determined by RR in its sole discretion, RR reserves the right to make any adjustments to your Account at any time. Any such adjustments, however, will be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, any RR Policies, any applicable laws, rules or regulations, and the terms of any Participating Merchant offers.
In our sole discretion, we may deduct Rewards or Points from your RR Account in order to make adjustments for returns and cancellations with respect to Qualifying Purchases.

Rainbow Rewards may collect, share, transfer, sell or use data and information through the Site and Services as stated in this Policy. IF YOU OBJECT TO THE TERMS OF THIS POLICY, YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE YOUR DATA OR INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO RAINBOW REWARDS THROUGH THE SITE OR SERVICES.
Certain of the web sites of our participating merchants, advertisers or affiliates and other third-parties may be accessible through the Site or Services. You may be asked to provide personally identifiable information (or other information) to these third parties through these web sites, including by way of example when you click on a link on the Site to one of these other web sites. These participating merchants and third parties maintain their own privacy and data collection policies and practices. This Policy covers only the Site and Services and does not extend to our customers or any third parties. RAINBOW REWARDS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POLICIES OR PRACTICES OF OUR PARTICIPATING MERCHANTS OR ANY OTHER THIRD PARTIES. YOU SHOULD REVIEW THE APPLICABLE PRIVACY POLICIES OF OUR PARTICIPATING MERCHANTS AND ANY OTHER THIRD PARTIES BEFORE PROVIDING THEM WITH YOUR DATA OR INFORMATION.
Registration is not mandatory to access the public areas of the Site. Registration is, however, required for access to certain areas of the Site and the use of the Services provided through those areas of the Site. The areas of the Site requiring registration are noted on the Site.
Users registering to receive an account on the Site will be provided with a username and will select a password for purposes of accessing their account and the portions of the Site available to account holders. When accessing the portions of the Site available to account holders, and using the Services provided through those areas of the Site, users may be required to provide their username and password.
We are not responsible for any loss or misuse of your username and password. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT TO PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY YOU SHOULD NOT SHARE YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD WITH OTHERS.
We only collect and share personally identifiable information regarding users of the Site or Services as described in this Policy. Except as noted in this Policy, personally identifiable information collected on the Site or through the Services is NOT shared with third parties without your consent.
We may automatically collect personally identifiable information from you when you access the Site or use or access the Services. We may also collect personally identifiable information from you through a number of voluntary sources on the Site and through the Services, such as responses, registrations, surveys, reviews, comments, confirmations, emails, postings, messages or other electronic submissions and communications sent by you to the Site or through Services.
We may collect personally identifiable information either directly or through one of the third parties providing a portion of the Services on our behalf (see the "Consent to the Use of Third Party Providers" section below for information on our use of third party providers).
The personally identifiable information we may collect from you will include, by way of example:
YOU SHOULD NOT PROVIDE RAINBOW REWARDS WITH ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (OR SUBMIT OR POST ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO THE SITE, THROUGH THE SERVICE OR IN RESPONSE TO ANY COMMUNICATION) UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE THAT INFORMATION TO BE USED BY RAINBOW REWARDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS POLICY.
The personally identifiable information that we collect from users of the Site or Services (both registered and unregistered) may be used for a variety of purposes, including by way of example:
We may also share certain personally identifiable information that we collect through the Site or Services with third party companies so that they may offer products and services to users of our Site or Services that we believe will be of interest to those users. We may also share certain personally identifiable information with third party advertisement serving companies to better target the advertising and other content displayed on the Site or Services and provide pertinent offers we think may be of interest to our users. In addition, third party advertisers may receive certain personally identifiable information about you if you click on advertisements displayed on the Site or through the Services. Clicking on any advertisement displayed on the Site or through the Services will be considered your consent to "opt in" for this transfer.
Where possible, our servers automatically recognize and collect certain non-personally identifiable information regarding visitors to the Site and users of the Services, including by way of example, IP address, browser type, and other information regarding the system and connection of each visitor or user. We also collect information about how visitors access and use the Site and Services, including by way of example what pages of the Site are viewed and what portions of Services are used. We may collect this information directly or through third party service providers acting on our behalf to provide portions of the Services (see the "Consent to the Use of Third Party Providers" section below for information on our use of third party providers). This information allows us to improve the content of the Site and Services, facilitate research and analysis of the Site and Services, and develop and refine our Services. Sometimes, we utilize the services of a third party to help us understand this information better, although the information that is disclosed to these entities remains at all times in non-personally identifiable form.
Some of our partners use the Services to process transactions for members of their own rewards programs. If you register for the Site or Services through such a third-party site or service, then the personally identifiable information that you have provided in connection with your account on that third-party site or service may be imported into your account on the Site. The personally identifiable information we may collect from you will also include any information imported from any such account on any third-party site. In addition, we will provide the information that we collect through the Site and Services to the partner through which you established your account. Your registration for the Site and Services through a program operated by one of our partners will be considered your consent to "opt in" to this transfer of Your information to the partner. RAINBOW REWARDS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POLICIES OR PRACTICES OF OUR PARTNERS. YOU SHOULD REVIEW THE APPLICABLE PRIVACY POLICIES OF OUR PARTNERS BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE SITE OR SERVICES THROUGH A PARTNER PROGRAM.
We may combine and enhance our user database information with third party data and information to improve the Site and Services and better target our advertising and provide pertinent offers in which we think our users would be interested. Certain summary demographics may also be used in research we use internally and offer as products to third parties. Individual personally identifiable information is never used in our research product offerings and is never tied back to an individual user or resold for any purposes.
On occasion it is necessary to send out service related announcements. For instance, if the Site or any of the Services is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. These communications are not promotional in nature.
We may send new registrants of the Site or Services a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members may occasionally also receive information on products, services and special deals, and periodic communications. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive certain of these types of communications. Please see the Choice and Opt-out section.
We have adopted a policy of allowing you to opt-out of the disclosure of your personally identifiable information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes and thus falls within this exception. Instructions for opting out can be found in the section below entitled "Choice and Opt-Out."
We provide you with a choice whether to receive certain emails and other communications through the Site and Services.
We provide you the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes. If you are a user of the Site or Services and you no longer wish to receive emails, mail, or telephone calls from us or have your email address or postal address shared with third parties, you may opt-out of receiving certain email, mail or telephone calls from us or having your email address or postal address shared with third parties. Occasionally we need to communicate with our users regarding their account or the Services. You may not opt-out of receiving these service-related communications except by deactivating your account.
In addition, if you would prefer that we not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes, you may opt-out of having your personally identifiable information shared with third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes.
The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
We provide customer service as set forth in our Terms of Service. We communicate with users to provide these services in accordance with our Terms of Service.
A cookie does not collect or keep your name or other personally identifying information; however, we may link the information obtained through cookies to other personally identifiable information to give us a better understanding of your preferences, so that we can provide a more meaningful experience to you on our Site and through our Services.
"Web beacons" (also known as "single-pixel" or "clear" GIFs) include electronic images imbedded in the Site or sent in communications which are invisible to users. Web beacons collect information, such as identifiers, time and date of access, and descriptions of the pages or communications in which the web beacons are imbedded. The Site and our communications may include web beacons. We may use the web beacons on the Site and in our communications for various purposes, including by way of example to track users who have visited our Site or accessed our communications.
Most browsers will allow you to erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. You may also be able to refuse certain web beacons by adjusting the settings on your browser or email software. Please refer to your browser or email software instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions.
In addition to the specific third parties noted in this Policy, we may also contract with other third parties to provide various portions of the Service and various services relating to the Site and Services on an outsourced basis rather than performing the services ourselves. For example, we may contract with a web site hosting provider to host all or a portion of the Site or Services for us. We may use a third party payment processor to facilitate payments to and from the Site or Service. Or we may use third party clearing organizations to collect information about your financial transactions with our participating merchants. By visiting the Site or using the Services, You consent to our use of these third party providers to collect both personal and non-personal information from You as part of the services these third parties provide to us. You also consent to our providing both personal and non-personal information that we collect or receive from You to these third party providers for the purpose of enabling the third party providers to provide their services to us. In each case, your personal and non-personal information will be used by our third party service providers on our behalf under the terms of this Policy, and You consent to the maintenance, processing, and use of your personal and non-personal information by Rainbow Rewards and these third party providers as described in this Policy.
If we decide to change this Policy, we will either notify users by way of an e-mail or post material changes on the Site so our users are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and if we disclose it. Unless we seek and receive your consent, we will use information in accordance with the Policy under which the information was last collected.
We will use at least industry standard security measures on the Site to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. While there is no such thing as "perfect security" on the Internet, we will take all reasonable steps to insure the safety of your personal information. For example, our policy is that only those individuals who need your personally identifiable information to perform a specific job are granted access to that personally identifiable information. Likewise, all employees and contractors are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
If we elect, in our reasonable discretion, to transfer ownership or control of the Site or Services to a third party, whether or not in the context of an acquisition, merger, or reorganization, you consent to the transfer of your personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information by us to that third party, provided that all use of your information by that third party remains subject to the terms of this Policy.
Thank you for visiting the Site and using the Services.
